Shutterfly Rocks!

My favorite photo cards are definitely from Shutterfly! They have so many cute designs. We used Shutterfly last year for our cards, and we loved them! We got so many compliments about them. They look so professional. They have so many designs it is hard to pick just one. I plan on using them again this year, and I can't wait to choose my design. I love that the paper they use is so thick. They are not flimsy at all. So head over to Shutterfly and get designing! The photo Christmas cards ( http://www.shutterfly.com/cards-stationery/christmas-photo-cards )are definitely my favorite, but they also have other designs you can use throughout the year.
These birthday invitations would be so much fun! http://www.shutterfly.com/cards-stationery/birthday-invitations
And, you know grandparents would love the calendar! They can see cute pictures of their grandkids throughout the year! http://www.shutterfly.com/calendars/wall-calendars
I can't wait to place my order! Enjoy browsing through all of their options!

Lindsay cracks us up

Lindsay is so funny. She is so cute and makes us laugh all the time. Here are a couple quotes.

L:Mom, who was the first mom on the earth?
Me: Eve
L: And who was the second mom? Her daughter?
Me: Um, yeah
L: And the next mom was that girl's daughter?
Me: Yes
L: And the next mom was Grandma?
Me: Not quite, sweetheart

Me: Lindsay, be careful, don't fall
Lindsay: Don't worry mom, I'm an excellent not-faller.

Daniel's newest phrase is NO WAY! He says it anytime things don't go exactly his way.

Yes, we are still alive!

We are still alive! I have just been a slacker on updating this blog. Here are some recent funny quotes from the kids:
L: Why can't my friend Connor go with us to the party?
Josh: Because only certain people are invited.
L: So Connor's not certain?

Daniel: Knock knock
us: who's there
Daniel: Daniel
us: Daniel who?
Daniel: Banana
Daniel and Lindsay: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
(I have no idea why that is so funny, but it cracks them up every time)

I'm grateful for...Daniel Joshua

Daniel is such a fun little boy. I love his expression when he wakes up in the mornings. He is so excited to see his mommy and sister. Daddy is already gone for work, but when Daddy comes home in the afternoon, Daniel's face just lights up. He runs over and gives him a big hug. Daniel loves cars, balls, and of course, following his sister around. He is just full of joy. He also loves exploring and discovering new things. He loves being a big boy. We love having him in our family. February 27, 2008 was a wonderful day and we are grateful for our son!

I'm grateful for...Lindsay Jean

She brings such joy into our family. She has such energy and excitement about everything. She loves everyone that she meets. She is outgoing and makes friends very easily. She is very curious and loves to learn. She is a very cute little girl. We love her personality. She loves giving hugs and always looks out for her baby brother. October 30, 2005 changed our lives forever in the best way possible!

Halloween/Lindsay's Birthday

We had a great Halloween! The kids loved it. We went 'trick-or-treating' at the local grocery store, and our ward also had a trunk-or-treat. Daniel was a very cute pirate, and Lindsay was also very beautiful as a princess.

Josh was an 'escaped inmate'!

Lindsay has been saying the funniest things lately. Here are some of them:

(At the kitchen table) "I need scoot up-ed!"

(Playing with her toys, and arranging them the same way as on the package) "I'm following the constructions!"

(Climbing on us, and we tell her to get off) "I'm just trying to give you a hug" (we can't argue with that, and she knows it)

Me: What is your favorite thing about being 4?
Lindsay: Going to school!

Lindsay also had a wonderful birthday. On her birthday, we got the kids' pictures taken (see below). Then we just played till Daddy got home from work. We then went to the grocery store and got some candles, ice cream and halloween candy. We also picked up a pizza from Papa Murphys. So, we came home, had pizza, cake, and ice cream. Lindsay loved it and said she had a great birthday. She requested Chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, and chocolate ice cream. Hmm, I wonder what her favorite flavor is? Here are some pictures of her with her cake.
