Recipes

Since we don't have an oven right now, I'm trying to get new recipes that can be cooked on the stove, George Foreman, Crockpot, or BBQ grill (while it's still relatively warm). I found these 2 crockpot recipes online that I want to try. If anyone has any others, let me know!
Italian Cream Cheese Chicken
1 8 oz block cream cheese
1 packet dry italian dressing mix
1 can cream of chicken soup
4-6 chicken breasts
Cook on low 6 to 8 hours or high 4 to 5 hours
Serve over rice

Santa Fe Chicken
1 can corn
1 can black beans, drained
1 jar salsa
1-2 lbs chicken breasts
8 oz cream cheese
add corn, beans and 1/2 of salsa
add chicken
add rest of salsa

Cook on low 3 hours
add cream cheese, cook 1 hour on low
serve over rice

Similar to your first recipe:
1 tub of sour cream
1 packet of Lipton Dry Onion Soup Mix
1 can of Cream of Chicken Soup
4-6 chicken breasts (I use tenderloins)
Cook in Crockpot on high for about 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Serve over Rice or Egg Noodles. I like it best with the noodles. Like a good stroganoff. Yum.

Ham and Cheese Soup

The base is easy: 3 cups of water and 1 lb of Velveeta. Add in some potato chunks, some ham chunks, a can of corn... celery, peas. Basically whatever you want in your soup. =)

Start with the water and the potatoes, cook the potatoes (stovetop, or high for a couple hours, low for longer). You can throw in the ham or some of the other stuff to cook too. After it's all cooked, put in the rest of whatever and the Velveeta and let it melt (only takes a few minutes). Stir well, serve warm, enjoy! It's yummy. =)

The best part is, you can do it in a crockpot OR in a pot on the stove! It all depends on how fast you want/need it done.

(sorry if my explanation seems whacked, I just got home from bowling and I'm kinda tired!)
